Brief Bio

Born in Ukraine

I grew up in Lviv, a large city (European-scale) in western Ukraine. After high school, I came to the U.S. with my parents.

Education

All of my post-secondary education was obtained in USA - formally (B.A. in sociology, M.S.W.) and informally (self-motivated study effort driven by varied interests.

Currently, I'm working through a full-stack coding boot camp run by U of Penn and Trilogy Ed Svcs.

Mission and Vision

I am interested in using my skills and knowledge to further public interest, civic engagement and democratic participation, besides making my living and following other creative pursuits. Code for Philly seems to be a wonderful opportunity to give back and pay it forward, pardon the cliches.
